Mirimiri monday

I enjoyed a nice foot rub and head massage in my Monday mirimiri session. I was even lucky enough to get this pretty colour nail polish painted on my toe nails. It was a great way to start the week after celebrating my 21st birthday on the weekend. I’m lucky to be surrounded by so many caring people.

Animal Art

This is my first day this week back after a short stay in hospital, admiring all the good looking Docs. I have really enjoyed my day and I am really proud of how my duck picture has come and it's almost finished.I can't believe how far my Art has come in the last year, before I was unable to complete a paint by numbers style picture intended for 8 year olds, because of hand tremors. Now I have done a deer and an eagle, and the two ducks will be done soon, and I can do most of it independently. Here is a cool picture of me and of the ducks for You to compare to the last update, I hope you enjoy.

My friends and I got to make a Samoan Lilly necklace, it was so much fun. The lady that showed us how to make them was from Samoa, awesome as.

Fun at Katikati Mueseum

I had an incredible time at Katikati Mueseum recently. I honestly can't thank Angie enough for making such an effort to make sure i could be there, it was TOTALLY worth missing this Monday for! I created a collage of my favourite pictures from the day and below I will add a caption explaining what each picture is about.

Top left: We dressed like teachers used to I thought this was much more fun than doing something like looking at photos showing how they used to dress.
Top Middle: Reading about all the powerful and influencial women from the past I learned a lot.
Top Right: Sitting in a mock classroom learning how they sourced, preserved and chilled food as they didn’t have fridges. We also learned about how we were about to make our own scones.
Bottom Left: Me helping to turn cream into butter and butter milk for our scones using a hand-powered churn.
Middle Right: Modz helping me mix the butter and flour together for our scone dough.
Bottom right: Learning to spell my name in morse code.

What a great day so much fun!
