Christmas party

I really enjoyed being at the Christmas party, things have been a bit rough medically lately so it was nice to have a break from it. I got a new dress that I really like and I am really happy because I got it on a reduced price a $62 saving check me out in my dress! I enjoyed all of it but my absolute favourite without a doubt was the Samoan dance troops. Despite being stuck in a mini bus with 20 people for 2hrs they were all very happy! They definitely gave a 110% in all three dances and travelled solely to perform for us. How kind! Truly exceptional dancers! It was really cool to catch up with my good friend and fellow client Kim. We went to school together then after not seeing each other for a year, she went to the Greerton Centre and we shared a weekly pottery session. As pottery closed I hadn't seen her in 18months so that 18 months so that was nice. Lastly I got some really nice photos especially of Matt & Shelley, in the process I remembered how much I enjoy and miss photography. I intend to do a lot more of it in the new year. All in all an amazing night I'm already excited for next year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! May the festive season be filled with love, hope and adventure, I look forward to seeing all of you and sharing many new experiences in 2019. Sincerely hoping 2019 is better for you in every way. May it be our best year yet!!!

Bye for now,

Planning for the new year.

Today I have been focusing on rainforests and jungles, as I am helping with a six week plan to help some of the clients learn about them. I am really excited and I think they will be kept interested. Hopefully they will learn that even the tiniest animals have a major role in keeping our world healthy. I am also really excited about our Christmas do tomorrow. I bought a new blue/green dress and my career is helping me with my makeup. For the rest of the afternoon I will be working on cards for the elderly and we still nd 2000 more. I have faith in the awesome people who call themselves kiwis and their ability to pull together for others in need.

Friday fun...

I spent the morning playing catch with my friends, I have also been having a foot and head massages, that I really love and I have also been making some Christmas cards, awesome as. Inside each of the cards I have put a photo of cute puppy, and my goal is too spread 1000 smiles before and over Christmas. So far I have completed 40, and I have 8 days to go.

BBC World

Today I spent the session choosing pictures of animals, these will be put on our World, appropriate to  their Country or Continent. It was really hard for me to choose which species to represent each Counrty, as I think they are all pretty awesome, and very cute. I think my favourite animal for the day is the Purdue deer, which is only 30 cms long, it’s the tiniest deer on the earth. It resides in Chile, an equally tiny Country.

Having fun in kitchen art with my friends. I quote a friend who said to me "If you don't laugh everyday it's a day wasted!".
